Find the tourist attractions
In the central part of Stockholm you find a number of different districts, each providing its own vibe and experiences. For example, in the southern part is Södermalm which offers a trendy environment with lots of shops and restaurants. Right across the water is the Old Town, Gamla Stan in Swedish. Not very surprisingly this is where you find some of the oldest establishments in the city, and Gamla Stan is also home to tourist attractions such as the Royal Palace and the Nobel Prize Museum.
If you are interested in museums, we recommend that you pay Djurgården a visit. The district is found in the eastern parts of Stockholm city center and besides a number of museums you can enjoy Kungliga Djurgården, which is one of the most popular recreation areas in the city. Djurgården is also home to the open-air museum Skansen.
