Binomio de Oro de América, one of Colombia's most beloved Vallenato bands, was founded in 1976 by the legendary Israel Romero and Rafael Orozco. They quickly became a cornerstone of the genre, known for blending traditional Colombian sounds with contemporary influences, transcending borders, making them stars in Latin music history.
The co-founders, Israel Romero (known as "El Pollo Isra,"), is a master accordionist whose skills and charismatic stage presence have been central to the group's success, and the late Rafael Orozco a gifted singer with a voice that captivated audiences.
